Uneo Completes Acquisition of Tekscan

Strengthens the global leadership and presence of both companies in flexible pressure and force sensing technologies.

Uneo has completed the acquisition of Tekscan. The combination will create one of the industry’s most comprehensive sensor technology portfolios, advancing innovation across medical, industrial, robotics, consumer electronics, and emerging smart-manufacturing markets.

Founded in 1987 by MIT alumni, Tekscan has built a reputation as the global standard for ultra-thin, high-resolution tactile pressure and force sensing systems, trusted by thousands of organizations for research, quality control, clinical applications, and precision manufacturing.

Uneo brings complementary strengths in high-efficiency volume manufacturing, automated clean-room production, and proven expertise powering consumer electronics and next-generation embedded sensing programs.
