Superior Materials, Inc., Garden City NY, has won the  DayGlo Distributor of the Year Award for 2013. The award was presented by Kevin Sonby, president of DayGlo Corporation, to Steven Kafka, president of Superior Materials, during an awards dinner held in New Jersey. Superior Materials has represented DayGlo since 1995.

“We value our relationship with DayGlo and are proud to represent such a dynamic organization that continues to be the technology leader in Fluorescents and other products that blend so well with our focused portfolio,” said Kafka.

Superior Materials, Inc., who will soon be celebrating its 70th anniversary as a privately held, fourth generation distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients, covers the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and near Midwest for large, recognized leaders of their respective fields, selling into CASE, plastics, inks, personal care, food and pharma, and allied industries. This is Superior’s fourth distributor award for 2013 from their principals, which is a new record for the company, surpassing three presented to them in 2011.
