Shamrock Technologies highlighted its Textures series, which provide a wide range of textures, during RadTech 2018.  Shamrock’s TexMatte series is designed for PMMA. FluoroTex is formulated for PTFE. The SPP series was created for polypropylene. Each of these provide various degrees of chemical, solvent, abrasion and heat resistance as well as tactile feel. They can be used to create finishes ranging from suede-like to coarse.  “Our customers are asking us for matting and flattening agents as well as textures, and we have developed our new line of textured products that provide different haptic properties,” said Alex Radu, technical manager at Shamrock Technologies.
