DuPont has completed the previously announced divestiture of its Aramids business (Kevlar and Nomex) to Arclin, a portfolio company of an affiliate of TJC, L.P. (TJC).

This transaction valued the business at approximately $1.8 billion.

With the close of the transaction, DuPont receives pre-tax cash proceeds of approximately $1.2 billion, subject to customary transaction adjustments, a note receivable of $300 million, and a non-controlling common equity interest in Arclin currently valued at $325 million, which is expected to represent an approximate 16% stake.

The results of the Aramids business were reclassified and reported as discontinued operations beginning in the third quarter of 2025 for current and historical periods.
