Boston Industrial Solutions, Inc. announced that its Natron 270 Series UV-LED inks have received the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) certification, reaffirming its commitment to compliance and safety standards for consumer products.

The Natron 270 Series is a hard UV ink line for Ricoh Gen 5, Gen 6, TOSHIBA CE4, SEIKO 1024, KONICA 1024, STARFIRE 1024, and XAAR 2001 printheads. This UV-curable ink is compatible with all flatbed and cylindrical UV printers equipped with the aforementioned printheads.

270 Series UV ink is excellent for printing on glass, metals, coated metals, ceramics, wood, acrylic, PVC, and other rigid materials. Because of its advanced formulation, this UV ink bonds on a wide range of materials without the need for UV adhesion promoters. Some characteristics of this ink include excellent adhesion, lightfastness, and durability.

CPSIA-certified means a product that has been tested and certified to comply with the requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), a US law aimed at ensuring the safety of children’s products.
