NAPIM Opens Registration 2026 Printing Ink Tech Summer Course 

From July 27-31 in Boone, NC industry professionals will partake in classroom instruction, hands-on lab work and technical sessions.

The National Association of Printing Ink Manufacturers (NAPIM) announced that registration is now open for the 2026 NAPIM Summer Course.

The course will take place July 27–31, 2026, at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.

This is the organization’s premier annual educational program for professionals in the printing ink industry. The NAPIM Summer Course brings together printing ink professionals for five intensive days of classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory work, and expert-led technical sessions.

The 2026 program will feature more than 30 sessions covering the full spectrum of printing ink science and technology.

Program Highlights

  • The 2026 NAPIM Summer Course curriculum is structured across five full days, each building on the last to provide attendees with a complete foundation in printing ink technology:
  • Classroom instruction from leading industry practitioners across litho, flexo, gravure, and digital ink disciplines
  • Hands-on laboratory sessions including press demos, viscosity testing, color measurement, and ink formulation
  • Concurrent group workshops that allow smaller cohorts to rotate through specialized lab environments
  • Sessions on government regulations, sustainability, and the science of colorants, rheology, and dispersion
  • Networking opportunities with peers and instructors from some of the industry’s most respected companies
