Here is Ink World’s weekly recap—the most viewed news stories on our site for the week ending April 25, 2026.

Ink prices are still hot on everyone’s minds, as Dave’s exclusive on price increases tops this list again this week. Next, International Paper (IP) has agreed to acquire North Pacific Paper Company (NORPAC) for $360MM. DuPont has set new 2035 Sustainability Goals, which set clear priorities across DuPont’s operations, organization, and value chain. This week, Waiākea Hawaiian Volcanic Beverages became the first brand to use algae-based inks across its supply chain in collaboration with NextGen Label Group, Living Ink Technologies, and ACTEGA. Lastly, Siegwerk introduced UniLEAF, a new acrylic-free ink for water-based flexo printing on paper and board.
