King Charles III Visits Oxford PV at Its Headquarters in Oxford

The King undertook a tour of the facility, unveilled a commemorative plaque to mark his visit, and received a gift.

His Majesty The King visited Oxford Photovoltaics Limited (Oxford PV) at the company’s headquarters in Yarnton, Oxford.

To mark the occasion, His Majesty was invited to unveil a commemorative plaque to formally record the visit and was presented with a gift by Oxford PV’s CEO, David Ward.

His Majesty met senior representatives of the company and undertook a tour of the site, where he met with employees and learned more about Oxford PV’s innovative work developing the next generation of solar technology.

The King was introduced to Oxford PV’s long-term research and innovation activities, including hands-on experience in the laboratory and demonstrations about how Oxford PV’s tandem technology is being integrated into different products and use cases.

“We were honored to welcome His Majesty King Charles III to our Oxford site today, and we are grateful for the time taken to engage with our team,” said David Ward, Chief Executive Officer of Oxford PV. “The visit provided an opportunity to recognize the outstanding work being carried out here, and Oxford PV’s role in advancing sustainable solar innovation.”
