Oxford PV Recognized as a UK Top 10 Innovative Startup

Perovskite pioneer has been recognized for an industry-leading patent portfolio & technology, driving next-generation solar.

LexisNexis has ranked Oxford PV among its Top Ten Most Innovative Startups in the UK. This recognition highlights Oxford PV’s pioneering leadership in perovskite-on-silicon tandem photovoltaic technology and the strength of its global IP portfolio.

Headquartered in Oxford, UK, Oxford PV is a global leader in perovskite solar technology, developing scalable, high-performance solutions for clean power for over a decade. With a portfolio of over 400 granted patents, Oxford PV’s tandem technology delivers materially higher energy output than conventional silicon cells.

Perovskite-on-silicon tandem solar technology brings the next era for solar innovation, offering a pathway to significantly higher performance than traditional silicon solar. This is a step-change for solar energy as conventional silicon technology is approaching its practical efficiency limit.
