Epson Selected to IAM’s 2025 Asia IP Elite

Epson has been selected for this honor for 11 consecutive years since 2013.

Epson has been selected among “The 2025 Asia IP Elite” by Intellectual Asset Management (IAM), a global intellectual property media outlet.

The Asia IP Elite recognizes companies and organizations that excel in intellectual property value creation, as determined by IAM based on its annual evaluations of companies and organizations.

This is Epson’s 11th consecutive recognition since 2013. In 2025, 101 companies in the Asia-Oceania region (including 25 from Japan) were selected. An award ceremony was held on November 19 during the IPBC Asia 2025.

Epson has defined five levels in the value hierarchy of its intellectual property activities.

The company has reached Level 4, where IP activities are fully integrated with business strategy, and is now striving toward Level 5, aimed at accelerating innovation and strengthening the Epson brand.

In addition to cross-licensing and anti-counterfeiting measures, Epson focuses on IP utilization to support open innovation and co-creation with startups.

Epson’s strength lies in its patent portfolio centered on inkjet and piezo technologies, boasting top-class positions in Japan, the United States, and China. Furthermore, Epson maintains high competitiveness in the projector and robotics fields.
