Flint Group reaffirms that its AQUACode series of water-based inks and coatings, manufactured in Europe, is compliant with the composition requirements of the 21st Regulation amending the German Consumer Goods Regulation, known as the German Printing Ink Regulation (GIO).

Flint Group advises converters striving for compliance that this bulletin covers its water-based flexographic inks and coatings that are designed for printing on the non-food contact side of food contact materials.

AQUACode inks have been developed in accordance with Swiss Ordinance 817.023.21 and formulated using only evaluated substances listed in Annex 10 or 2.
