This process can be described more as stenciling. A heavy coating of ink is applied onto a mesh screen placed on top of the substrate. The ink is drawn across the screen by a squeegee, and goes through the openings of the screen. It is commonly used for textiles, glass and metal substrates, and circuit boards.
