Comments: HP Inc. had a solid year in 2024, with net revenue of $53.6 billion essentially flat from 2023. The Printing business accounted for $18 billion, down 4% year-over year. Personal System revenue was $36.1 billion, up 1%. The company recorded $3.3 billion free cash flow in 2024.

HP Inc. and its subsidiaries reported fiscal 2023 net revenue of $53.7 billion, down 15% (down 12% in constant currency) from the previous year period. At $18 billion, Printing makes up 34% of sales, with personal systems at 66%. Printing had an 18.9% operating margin. The company generated $3.6 billion in net cash provided by operating activities and $3.1 billion of free cash flow in fiscal 2023.

Comments: HP Inc. had a solid year in 2022, with net revenue of $63 billion, down 0.8% from 2021. The Printing business accounted for $18.9 billion, or 30% of HP’s business, with the Personal System division the remaining 70%. The company recorded $5.5 billion of non-GAAP operating profit, and free cash flow was $3.9 billion in 2022.

“We had a solid end to our fiscal year despite navigating a volatile macro-environment and softening demand in the second half. In Q4 we delivered on our non-GAAP EPS target, while also completing our three-year value creation plan and exceeding our key metrics,” said Enrique Lores, HP president and CEO.

HP generated $4.3 billion in net cash provided by operating activities and $3.9 billion of free cash flow in fiscal 2019.

HP develops its own inks, most of which are water-based, as well as doing some ink manufacturing. In July 2020, HP launched its latest PageWide printer, HP PageWide Web Press T250 HD, introducing its new water-based HP Brilliant Ink for the printer.
